An Ohio woman was killed in a three-vehicle accident on U.S. 50 east of Highway 20.

According to highway patrol, a 77-year-old woman was driving east when she attempted to pass a semi-truck. The woman then hit the semi-truck which caused her car to spin across the lanes and she was then hit by an on-coming truck.

The driver of the semi was not hurt in the accident, but the Ohio woman was killed. The driver of the pickup truck was also injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
