A 44-year-old man was seriously injured in car accident on State Route 7 on May 23.

The man's car was struck by a pickup truck that crossed the center line just south of Route 164. The 29-year-old driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle on the road which caused the truck to cross the center line.

Both the 29-year-old driver and the passenger of the truck were treated at the scene for minor injuries.The 44-year-old man was tranpsorted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Car accidents can happen very suddenly and have dangerous effects on all involved. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim.
