Boat crash on I-71 backs up traffic

by Administrator 12. July 2010 01:51

A boat crash occrred on I-71 as a towed boat was being pulled by Land Rover and became loose on the roadway.

The 44-year-old driver of the Land Rover was pulling the 33 foot boat on a trailer when he lost control of his vehicle. This caused his car to go off of the road and crash into the gaurdrail.

The impact caused the trailer along with the boat to dislodge from the car. The boat then came to a stop on the middle of the roadway. Traffic was backed up for hours as crews removed the boat from the road.
