An auto accident which occured on September 30 resulted in an 11-year-old Deerfield Township girl's leg being pinned underneath an SUV. The accident took place near U.S. 22 and 3. The girl was trying to cross the street from a gas station to a drug store on her bicycle when she was struck by the vehicle, trapping her bike and her leg underneath one of the tires.
A witness helped move the SUV off the girl's leg, and a life squad rushed her to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for treatment. She was later released from the hospital.
