Vigil Remembers 30th Anniversary of Who Concert Tragedy

by Administrator 3. December 2009 06:46

A vigil is being organized tonight in Cincinnati to remember the 11 people who were crushed to death 30 years ago at a concert by legendary rock band the Who.  The people were crushed to death as a crowd surged into Riverfront Stadium to get good seats for the event.  The tragic event largely ended the practice of festival seating at large concerts - that is, open, unassigned seating.

The vigil will begin at 6:30 on the West Plaza in U.S. Bank Arena.  Speakers will include witnesses and relatives of the victims of the tragedy.

If someone you love has been killed because of someone else's negligence, contact Cincinnati premises liability attorney Shawn M. Stepleton by calling 513-321-7733 today.
